fishing in the Delaware River
my friends and i are going to go fish the river in a week or two, and we need to know what to look for, we dont have a boat, but there is an island in the middle that we could wade across to. What baits will work good in this kind of situation, there is seeweed on both sides, around 3 foot and deeper. What kind of baits, and what types of rods?

Re: fishing in the Delaware River
Are you kidding me ? Â*Is this the same Delaware River that runs between New York and Pennsilvania, and you're going to fish it in Febuary ? ? ? Â*It's gonna be ice bound, and you are going to wade it out to some island ? Â*You had better have ice cleats on them waders.
Yes, I know them big flat islands surrounded by grass, Â*but you ain't gonna be havin no grass growin around them this time of year. Â*You iz gonna have ice and plenty of it ! Â* I must have the wrong river, fill me in. Â*Where abouts along it's length will you be fishin it Â*? Â* Â* Â* Or did I just fall for an early April fool joke ? Â* : > Â*Jim |
