I bought a pair of Rapala foreceps(spelling)/scissor combo for $11.00 and I thought that was bad enough. They are really nice though so I got over it! I don't believe I would pay $200 bucks for a pair of pliers, thats a lot of tackle that could be bought instead Kybasser |

I bought 2 sets at BPS that were like 17$ apiece. They appear to be better than those that cost less. They don't rust. |

I might be wrong, but I think in my Cabelas fly fishing catalog Van Saal also made a very high end large arbor fly fishing reel. In which case I would assume that Van Saal is like Orvis as far as named brand highway robbery goes, but much worse.

279.00 for pliers/tool is just too over budget.....I'd get a Boga grip, Rapala Pliers and De-Barb tool for under 150.00 total!

Holy Crap, Zook. For 279.00 they better be made out of Platnum, Rimmed in Gold and unhook the fish by themselves while still in the display case at home. Nope, out of my budget. Charles |

I'll stick with my Gerber multi-tool, if I can't get the hook out with those or the hemostats- that fish gets to keep the bait |
