Default Growing bigger bass

A pond that I fish at, about an acre in size, maybe a little bigger, has a lot of bass in it but they don't really have any size. Biggest I've caught out of there is probably 14". I know the size of the body of water has something to do with limiting their growth but is there anything else I can do to help the bass get bigger?

The owner agrees that there are probably too many small bass for any of them to get any size so I think he'll let me start keeping the smaller ones. Any other ideas?

The pond does have blue gill, crappie and catfish in it as well.
