When people ask about colors for clear water I always recommend darker, more natural colors and the same for cloudy days. Today I had both. So naturally I was throwing chartreuse
. Nothing. Took my own advice, switched to a watermelon red Tiki Stick and caught 5: 2 largemouth, 1 smallmouth, one fat bluegill and a first for me. I landed my first spotted bass. I wasn't sure if it was a spot or a Guadalupe bass, but after doing a little research confirmed it was a spot. If I would have caught a Guadalupe I would have hit for the cycle ;D.
