Well as some of you know I'm heading to lake O in April, so I decided to go pick a few things, like 10" Power Worms, and Magnum Lizards(like I don't have enough already ???) Anyway went into Dick's on the way home, and thought what the heck might as well see if they have the Curado's on sale(NOPE) Well I stopped by the FIRST Dick's and started looking at the rod's, St Croix of course, and noticed they had some All Star rods also. Didn't really care for them over the St Croix, but they were nice. So I bought some Rapala's TDD-11 Deep Diving Tail Dancers(dives to 30'), 1 in Blue Flash and 1 in Silver Flash. Also got the worms and lizards, some weights and YUM scents. And I also bought some Senko's, not because I'm a Huge fan, but it was reccomended to me by a good guy for Florida(again like I don't have enough ???), and some Peg-it's. Total $61.55 spent at store #1. Well there is another Dick's that was a Galyan's so I stopped in there after leaving the first one and decided again to check to see if the Curado's were on sale(NOPE). But again I start looking around, and they have some G-Loomis rods left over from when it was Galyan's(probably only 10 total). Well I decided what the heck, it's only money and so I looked for either a 6'6" med baitcasting rod for cranks, but they didn't have any, or a 6'6" MH for c-rig/ t-rigs, or even a PNJ. Well I found one, and latched onto it. Then I see my Texposer 5/0 hooks I use for my flukes, and bought 4 bags of them. Well now I need a reel to go on my new rod, and of course I just can't get the Curado out of my mind, so I grabbed one of those also to match up, and since I was using this rod for this application, I decided to go with the 6:2:1 ratio, vs the 5:1 which I would have gotten for the crankin rod. Well the total here was $285.30 for a grand total of $346.85 And I was just gonna buy some plastics :-X That elephant reached around me and grabbed my nads, and said BUY BUY BUY. And he won :-* Lizards |

Hehe, those damn elephants. I've been sitting here figuring my finances, I am steadily coming to the conclusion that after I get back my folks might kill me. Better promise to build that garage this summer, maybe that will restore the good will. |

Lizards, just b glad that you stopped B4 Bait T-Rex, haha, so you can still afford to have a decent lunch. At least when you get back out to the water, you'll have some new things too play with, that is always fun. Sandra |

I do like what I've seen, and I do have some cranks I've been thinking about getting redone. My dad use to love a bait called the Sparkle Tail(don't know the brand name?), and has given me about 5-6 of them. They are a jointed mid range crank that floats. I would really like to get some of the colors changed, and also see if it's possible to make a couple of the suspend? Is this something you can do? If so send me a PM with a ball park on price, and I'll get them out to you. I do love Chip's cranks, and I'm still waiting on a couple of Custom Globes he's making for me. But I would also like to give a you a shot at doing these. Lizards |

To bad there wasn't a 3rd store you needed new line for those rod and reels. :P If that is what you buy when you just go to get a few plastics, I can only imagine what you come home with when you go to buy a new rod and reel. ;D |

50# bag of peanuts-$22.00, Trip to fishing store-$346.85, Elephant holding a lizard by the nads-priceless. Mine would read 346.85 for fishing- wife walking out door. Still trying to get her off my back about the boat. 8) |
