Re: Went Zara Spookin
there are times when that's the only bait that works.i really like the bass pattern spooks.then there are times when the buzzbait is better.i find if the water is like glass the spook is better.

Re: Went Zara Spookin
There a guy that fishes a lake here and he always catches little 1-2 pound fish and claims they are like 7 pounds... he caught a fish that look liked it might have weighed 3 pounds and he was floating his boat around (he had the fish out of the water for like 20 minutes) he was boasting about it to all the little kids and females on the lake but he would never bring the fish anywhere near any of the bass fisherman or guys who would know he was full of **** (btw he claimed this 3 pounder weighed 9 pounds) he also claimed he catches 11 pound bass out of this place ALL THE TIME fact is i have never seen a bass bigger than 8 come out of the lake and i doubt there are any 11 pounders in there

Re: Went Zara Spookin
Spook suggestion: The way the hooks are attached can allow the fish to get leverage by having the hook go up next to the body of the bait which can allow it to throw the hook. Adding a split ring helps eliminate that. Remove the hook by unscrewing the hardware, put a split ring on the hook, and reattach the hooks putting the hardware through the split ring rather than the eye of the hook. It doesn't effect the action but increases your chances of landing the fish.
