If anyone has a used longshaft(25" shaft) engine between 90-175 HP that is a few years old. Â*Please let me know. Â*I need to get an engine on my new boat before spring. Â* Also if you could even just point me in the right direction to find one. Â*Like a website or something. |

Lonestar, you might check with some of your local dealers-someone might have traded one in for an upgrade that you can get for a good price. You also might check ebay.

lone star be prepared to add some weight to the bow section with that 4 stroke. a yammy 115 2 stoke is 458 pounds four stroke add 200 more pounds. my buddy has a 130 honda we put 500 pounds on the bow of a 19 foot lund just to make it ride level on plane. zooker

The little wheel on the front of thr trailer had trouble lifting the boat up since it has so much tongue weight. It also made our Ford Expedition tilt back slightly while we were towing it home. It has plenty of tongue wiegh. It will need alot of weight on the back just to level it out. It's a 19 foot fiberglass offshore fishing boat. The hull is the same one as a center console but with dual consoles.

It's a twelve year old boat that was sitting in my grandfather's back yard all of that time. It's never even been in the water and it looks brand new. I took it because he wanted it out of his yard, it was free, and I was looking for a new boat. I'm gonna take it down to florida 3 times a year but keep it with me in tennessee the rest of the time. It kind of looks like a fish and ski but all fiberglass and no carpet. The front has a flat deck that is set down 18" so I can use it for bass fishing. Here is a newer version( they have made some changes):http://www.sailfishboats.com/sailfis...l.aspx?boat=16 |

I thought someone would make a comment or two about them. When I show people what it looks like they ask the same question. They could sit in the back and get a tan while i am fishing up front. I probably wouldn't be fishing with them their I would be staring.

LONESTAR, Â* Â* You can only stare so long, then you trip on your...... tongue and fall out of the boat! ZOOKER, I keep forgetting you are "not from around here." The saying "Gettin' the hell out of Dodge" relates to the Kansas western town of Dodge City and Wyatt Earp fame! JackL |
