CU 200 $49.00 and the diawa megaforce for $25.00. That is the fourth wal-mart i have been to looking for this deal. $185.00 bucks worth of reels for $74.00.WOW.

figure it out 5 reels reg sell for 119.98ea...=719.88...cost me $285...now that's a deal that's hard to beat with a baseball bat.

Just called all 5 local wally worlds by me- Curado CU 2000-84.96, The quantum 1310mg-54.84. Is the cu2000 the same as the 200. They also have the quantum 130-43.94. Dont use these but if they are the same thing I could probably pick them up for some one. 8)

You guys are killing me. I called 2 stores today, and stopped by 2 more on the way home from work. Yeah all of them had the $119.98 price tag. Oh well I guess I just have to lose out on the curado deal. I was told that each store decides their own sale stuff. I'll keep looking, but doesn't look promising around here for them.

The thing is, they are marked more than they scan for.
The curado was on sale for $99.00 and scanned for $49.00 the diawa on sale for $50.00 and scanned for $25.00........the salesman did'nt even question it.

I had them scan them at the stores while I waited, and asked the others to do the same over the phone.

Well,job or no job.I found myself back at the Wal-art . The same one that i scored the deals at. No curados in stock.I shook my fist at the "Fishing God's". Just the the guy behind the counter say's,"The display model sell's for $25.00!". Paid for it and ran for the door, just waiting for the manager to scream "stop him".Unreal , another curado for $25.00. Bassintom,Iwould like to thank you for telling use in the forum about the deal on those.I have to say that i doubted you in the begining.

I hate to keep this post going, but. Talk about bad luck. I went up north Pa sat with my girlfriend for a baby shower. Had a chance to slip away and went to the local wally world. Went back to the fishing section and checked the reels. Saw 4 curados and asked if they were on sale. The guy said no, these ones were not. He said all the reels they had marked down were sold out. He said yesterday (friday) some guy came in and bought the last 4 curados. I was ready to die when he told me they were marked down to $21.00!!! A day late.
So I went to the wally world site on line and called all the stores in western Pa. All sold out except for one store that has one curado left. The guy said it is marked down to $30.00. Well if it is there when I get there it's mine. After all this chasing around I am done.

Well you put me through some more work looking for this deal :-/ I took your intiative, and pulled up all of the Walmart's within a 25 miles radius of me. There were 10 listed. I called every single one of them and asked them to scan the Curado's. Not 1 of them had them on sale. I'm over the searching for these, on sale, I guess if I decide to buy another one, it's gonna be regular price. Anyway most of the folks I talked to were very helpful to scan the item, but hardly any of them new squat about their fishing equipment since I had to describe the reel(color, in your glass case, reg priced at $119.96 etc..) more than half the time.

I picked up three Berkley Bionix 6 1/2 ft mh Im7 rods for $5.00 ea I didn't need them or even would have considered a Berkley rod for reg price but for $5.00 I figured what the heck.
No curado's on sale around here either but the Daiwa vt's were marked from $119.00 to $39.00 a couple weeks ago so I picked up all three of those they had left also.In my opinion these are atleast as good a reel as the shimano or maybe even better.
I think the wife is catching on though since I never wanted to go to wally world with her before and now I always want to go along ;D
