Whatever you need to do the job. There is no "favorite". Fishing tackle is a tool. That's all it is. The question is like asking a carpenter what's your favorite tool? You use the right tool for the job.
Now, if you ask, "What test line do you use most often?" that's a different question. I use mostly 10 and 14. Ten on a spinning reel, 1f on a casting reel. |

Favorite?
Multi-hook/exposed hook like crankbaits and spinnerbaits: Â*12lb green Trilene XL. Baits where feel is important like worms and jigs: 50 lb PowerPro braid-12lb mono diameter. Spinning/dropshot: Â*8lb green Trilene XL. Real heavy cover: 50lb Powerpro |

Hi,
If i am bass fishing i usually use 10 or 12 lb. test line, unless i am fishing with and ultra light pole. I usually only use higher test lb. line when i am catfishing or deep sea fishing. Sandra |

My favorite is 12LB test cajun red. I believe that you can catch mostly anything on it.
