Default What do you do when you can't be out on the water?

Other than fish, I like to shoot guns, work, sleep, and go off-roading in the jeep (usually to find some new honey holes). What do you like to do with your spare time?

Unfortunately, lots of homework. But I also enjoy just about everything out doors and in my free time I talk about fishing, read about fishing, and watch fishing shows.

You know! I still love to fish, and like everyone else, I'm still looking for that extra large hawg that I can claim is over ????Lbs. But I know that's just a dream. At my age I have been fishing alot of years and I have enjoyed those years, met alot of good people, learned alot of good stuff. I've won a couple of small local tourneys, which had no significance at all and verry little bragging rights... But at this time in my life, fishing is not that high on my pryority list. I still go when ever I can, mostly for peace and tranquility I get just being there, or when my friend calls me and says it's time to go. We fish in the spring, summer and fall, and then we don't fish that much. We don't go when the temp gets down to freezing, that's when my wife steps in and says "NO". I know eventually I will give it up just like I had to give up my hunting. But until then I will keep the bearings on my trailer greased, and take care of my lovely wife of 40 years. And that's what I do when I'm not on the water.

I don't know, either go on a tackle buying frenzy , or go to work. I truely believe the idiot that invented working for a living never took up fishing for a hobby. P N J

Commanded the team my Sr.year and won the Texas State Championship and then went on to be guideon bearer for the Fightin' Texas Aggie Fish Drill Team at Texas A&M. If you have ever seen the movie "A FewGood Men" the drill team at the very start are not Marines-they are Aggies.

Had a lot of fun doing that.

Thats pretty cool, I saw a few good men like a week ago, those guys at the beginning are crazy. My program is 200 strong, 4yrs ago it was #2 in the nation. Its kinda going through a weaker phase right now, but we're getting a lot of really involved freshmen in the program so we should be back to winning states in about 3 yrs, long after I'm gone.

What free time. Hunt when I can buy a day off work, ride the motorcycle when it's not raining, spend time w/ a lovely wife and three wonderful kids as much as possible. Fish when I need the destressing in my life. Other than that my free time consists of one big never ending list called HONEY DO'S!
