I have one. I haven't had much success with it, but that's because the situations haven't been right to throw one since I bought it. I'll be lending it to BassinBob who tends to fish reeds and pads almost exclusively (as I'm more a rip-rap jig fisherman). I know he'll have great success with it.

It goes by several names, depending on which store stocks it.
"OMG! WOTIZZIT?" (Cabela's) "DON'T LET IT GET ME!" (PETA Web Store) "Bud Tuggly" (BPS) "Mmmmm...Good" (Cracker Barrel General Store, Inc.) "Not In MY Boat!" (Women's Bass Tour Catalogue) "How Rude!!!" (FlyFishing, Kayak, and Macrame' Shoppe) FR |

I thought that was an anchor when I first looked at it.......How does that thing swim? Looks like it would act like a cross between a popper and a frog.

Well it kinda pops just like a frog moving on top. When retrieved it works more like a jitterbug. But it is so hard to not set the hook on the blowup. I flinch ,jump and curse at each blow up. And under my breath I say wait to feel him, wait to feel him... Better than a shot of Cabo Wabo... Capt Mike

I was worried about the single hook when I got mine, but It has as good of a hookup ratio as any other frog for me. I like to fish it when the fish want the frog continually moving, but opt for the bronzeye frog most of the time. I have had mine since they first came out, and its a good frog, I just really don't fish it enough.
