Make sure you hit the Kenai river. Fiancee's from up Kenai-Soldotna (sp?) area. Beautiful area, especially down near Homer. Eat at the Land's End Cafe' if you get the chance.

Hey, IE, I'll be in Nikiski, about an hour from Homer. Don't worry, I'll be fishing the Kenai, and some other ones like the Sugarloaf or something like that.
C-Ya till I get back...

Where in Alaska? I'd suggest Homer. A small drinking town with a fishing problem. That's like their city motto. By the way don't say "just for the hell of it." Say "Just for the Halibut." That's really what they say in Alaska.

Bald Eagles fly around here a lot, atleast I see a good 3-4 everytime I go out to Lake Miccosukee to hunt.
But Alaska should be an awesome trip!! Take lots of pictures and have fun, I dont know what the northern lights schedule is, but I bet thats something amazing to see, and take a look at the night sky, not many places that will have a view like that anymore.

I don't think you understand the quantity of Bald Eagles in Homer. Last time I was there I saw over 100. Of course, I was there in the winter, so the Eagle Lady was feeding them. You'd have to see it to believe it.
