Default what line works the best?

Hello, i am sorta a newbie fisher, but i have been fishing for a year or two. And to day when i was out i noticed that my line was a pice of crap that kept getting knoted.
I was wondering about wich line yall think is the best for bass fishing, because i *really need to get some new line befor my next outting. So if yall could help me out by telling me what line works the best for you i will really be thankful.

It depends on a number of things. I use three different types of line. I use Powerpro braid for worms, jigs, Carolina rigs and flipping, mono for spinnerbaits and crankbaits, and flourocarbon for soft plastic jerkbaits. It also depends on the type of reel you are using. If it is spinning tackle, I prefer mono. So to answer your question there isn't one "best" line. One thing I would suggest is get quality line. Like everything else, you get what you pay for.

Very much so. If you stick with brands like Trilene XL you will be fine. Avoid a line called Iron Silk, though-worst line I ever used.

Cajun red cast or trilene xl or xt. I realy like trilene xt and cajun red, just listen to what everyone else is saying and get cast, lighting is horrible, i learned the hard way.

The line that I always liked was "Do you believe in love at first sight, or shall I walk by again?"
