You should be able to just knock it back in with a mallet. You might need a wooden or plastic wedge to work it in.

ZOOKER,

Â* Â* I run into that problem on my Ranger when fishing lakes with lots of standing timber.
Â* Â* I go ahead and pull about a foot on each side of the area that is pulled out and spray it with WD-40, then start in the middle and work it back in with a wooden tongue depressor or popsicle stick, then I lightly tap on each side of the area I have started in while holding it in the center and working it in with the stick. I can generally work in a couple feet of rub rail in 10 minutes.
Â* Â* Mine usually pushes back to the rear of the boat and bulges out at the corner, so I start at the corner and work foreward. This is from rubbing standing timber and docks, and will happen from time to time. It usually happens to me when I am fishing in the wind and get blown against objects.
