Default hookin up the

john deer. as most of you know in muddy water chatruse spinner baits rule. the bait i use is no great secert. a simple spinner bait with double colorado blades. the first thing i do is remove the skirt -cause stock skirts suck-i replace it with a hawg caller skirt. chartuse with gold flakes.and i add a chartuse with gold flake grub. if ya have seen a john deer they are green and yellow. hince the name . they slay in muddy water.

Sounds like a great spinner zooker, but since I live in Iowa, home of the original John DeerE I think I needed to point that out. Now....hmmm, where can I find some hawg caller skirts! Those Iowa farm pond bass should love any lure John Deere colors

i normally use a hawg caller or a war eagle spinner bait for this .i change the back blade to colarado-can't seem to find a double col blade for nothing. indiana blade will also work .

I never have much luck with colorado blades. My goto dirty water bait is grean and white with copper willow blade seems to work very well when rolled very slow.

I like a single gold colorado blade in the #6 size on a 3/8 oz bait.
Fluorescent white w/gold flakes in the skirt.
