Well,

You must be catching some small reds and I can cast farther with power pro than and mono and it flies through the guides. Also it is more slick and easier to pitch with. ;D

idk, i tried power pro and cajun red cast... i have to say, the red cast is my favorite of the 2. also, no offence to anyone and their preferred style of fishing, but 2-4 pound mono on a 5 foot UL rod with matching reel is plenty to get St. Lawrence Pike and all sorts of bass, both smallies and buckets with no problems. fighting a 36 inch pike on 4 pound mono with no leader (and actually landing it) is unbelievable!! i think 50 lb line is a little overkill for anything in fresh water. But, to each his own.
