Default Why I LOVE Fishing

Got out sunday 0n the water at 7am. Left my house at 5am with temp 30 degrees. Got to the Caol pit with 35(got to 47) degree temps. Water temp was 39 degrees(found it as high as 43 later in the day). Of course didn't see a sole all day until about 3pm my neighbor put a john boat in the water with a trolling moter on it and fished for 30 minutes. I was copletely relaxed, and felt at ease/peace. It was cloudy with about a 10mph wind. Yes it was cold, but I dressed for it. I saw 4 deer as I was fishing along with a dead floating Coyote, the owner must have got. Most everyone I know thinks I'm absolutely insane for spending 9 hours on the lake with this kinda weather, and little chance of catching much. Well as a bonus I caught 3ea bass, 14", 15", and a 18" with the biggest fish throwing the hook, as it jumped. Most folks would say it was a poor day, or even nothing special, but since I hadn't been out in my boat, for quite awhile, it was PURE relaxtion for me. Hope to have another couple of hundred days like that.
