Central Jersey
Hi Folks,
I'm going to post these reports this one time. Not sure if anyone wants to hear about these lakes. If no one does I will not waste your time. If anyone wants to know about these waters let me know. IM or email is also ok. Suprise Lake, still has ice but it is breaking up, some open shore line looks good for chains. Seelys pond is moving fast over the dam, but mostly clear of ice. Down river is fast, should be nice for the put and take trout next week, but don't think any bass below the dam. Two lakes by the Watchung Circle, open moving fast over the dams. Chimmney Rock appears clear of ice, but I didn't hike into the lake, will fish this one next week. Never made it to the damn so don't know about the water level. Rahway River doing well. Got a couple of Crappie, one Bass (maybe, it came off before I could get it to the surface for a good look) and a nice catfish. I know they are not bass, but I'll take what I can get right now. Milton Lake is open for the most part. Have not checked out Jackson falls or the Mill. That's all for now. Hope I'm not boring you all. :-/ |
