Got a big one Friday!
Went out friday, and got the big ONE. He weighed 8.6 lbs, and was pretty easy to land. He was also a whopping 21 inches long. I named him. His name is Darren Tyler. He was born on January 13, 2005. And my wife pushed him out with nothing but a shot of demerol. Just another member of the family to add to the fishing arsenal.

Re: Got a big one Friday!
As I was reading that I was thinking to myself..."What does this guy know about big bass? An 8 lber is almost certainly a female..."
Then I thought..."wait a second, so he named a fish" To my credit though, I finally figured it out. Congrats Trav. |

Re: Got a big one Friday!
We did the math and we believe this one was concieved at the sprin Talledaga race, and the other two were done in the winter time. What else am I supposed to do in those situations?

The first time I only read the first two sentences and had no idea what everyone was talking about when I went further down the list. :P Anyways, Congrats! Hope you can take him out fishing before too long.

Not during the race, but at the camp grounds on one of the three nights there.

Re: Got a big one Friday!
He is a sweet baby. He only cries when he's hungry or dirty. It will be awhile before he starts fishing. I gotta get my other two started here soon. Probably this spring.
