Great day of Buzzbait fishing! Checkout the photos

Well guys the time has finally come for good Bassin', today was a blast! Me and a buddy landed about 30 bass today fishing shallow in about 5- 10 feet of water. I started the day out throwing Texas rigged plastic worms caught a few and then I switched over to a black and blue jig and landed a couple of 1 pounders. When the jig bite died off I said "what the hey I want to try buzzing them" since the bite was so good and the fish were in the shallow. I broke out a 1/2 ounce Strike King Buzzbait with a black and red skirt and had one day of the best fishing I've had since fall. When the first Bass hit the buzzbait I nearly had a heart attack from not expecting the Bass to slamming a buzzbait! They aren't Huge but today sure was fun! The biggest one is about 2-3 pounds! Right after Lizards of course

Why do you look so unhappy. You're out fishing, and catching Fish on Buzzbaits, not a whole lot that can beat that in my book 8) I'd be smiling big time.

I agree Topwater is the most exciting way to hook a Bass. Lizards are one of my best confidence baits I use, I fished with lizards almost all of last year! Nothing beats a watermelon seed Zoom lizard! And I was extremely happy, I was just blown away to catching a Bass on topwater so early in the year!

I'll have to agree with you on the Zoom watermelon seed. Me and the son inlaw went out yesterday and caught probably 25- 30 also . All on the watermelon seed
