definitly a spinner bait!!! I like white with a silver and gold willow blade. I try to run it on top and give it some jerks so it triggers the bass to look at it.

Another vote for spinnerbait or crankbait. Tough to beat a chrome/blue back trap.

Wow I see from the responses that no one would do what I do. I would throw a 3 foot long carolina rig and a 1 once weight. Straight shank 4/0 hook and a sweet Zoom fire tail lizard.

Believe it or not, I throw a Senko and let it naturally drift through the weeds or whatever else. I've caught many fish like this even in Canada where it's always windy. Other choices = 1/4oz. J&P, crankbaits.
