Default Again not a thing!

Went to the local pond again, nothing. Fished until 9pm. Well, tonite, is going to be a trip to Amwell Lake for sure. I cant take this slump. It can drive you nuts.

Probably the bass are there but you might not be presenting your bait to them right. You might want to try fishing deeper than you were but with the same baits. Latley the bass in the lakes I fish have backed away from the banks to get into deeper cooler water or to get away from the heavy fishing presure. Also fish wherever the wind blows.

how i fish some ponds is i wacky worm rig throw it in the middle let her sink, and then work it back off the bottom to the bank. play by the bank for awhile because bass like to hesitate untill its about ready to leave the water. some are more agressive.

Also you might want to drop down the size of your line. I have done this before and I have started to catch more bass in certain situations. The lighter line makes for a more natural presentation.

Instead of using lighter line, make a 3-4 foot long leader out of flurocarbon and tie it on to your main line with a blood knot. Ive had times when fishing wieghtless rigs with jerkbaits and tiki sticks when the fish will not hit it without a flurocarbon leader.
