Caught some nice Bass today! (Photos) 2/27/05
Today was another great day on the lake! I started out throwing a black & blue jig with a yum chunk and nailed a couple nice keepers! When they stopped hitting the jig I switched over to a Zoom Mag II worm in in green pumpkin on a 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook and landed this beautiful 3-4 pounder!
Here is my fishin' buddy Chris with his 2-3 pounder he landed on a small Zoom lizard! We only fished for about 2 1/2 hours and called it a day! And what a fun day it was! Total fish today: Fishin Dude(me)- 4 My buddy Chris - 3 |

[/quote] No, we do not get ice on any of our lakes, we can fish year round! It does get pretty cold in December and January and the fishing can be tough in those 2 months. The water temperature is still pretty cold here and I'm amazed that the fishing is so good right now, fishing starts to get really good in March! |

Fireman,
I don't think I have seen him smile in any of his pics. I know you will never see me with a 3-4 pound fish and not have a smile on my face . Kybasser |

Lone, We have an ice fishing season.I fish the main lakes that are very deep so they don't freeze over.Seneca lake near me is 610 feet deep so it rarely freezes over.I go out a couple of times a year with the crew to ice fish ,but its more grilling food out on the ice, and throwing a football around than fishing.Ice fishing requires alot of moving around drilling holes. We take way too much gear out to fish properly.Bill carted a lazyboy out on the ice last year. ;D P N J
