Re: classic ride?
Zooker, the dodge viper is a 6spd manual trans, the 727 torqueflight is a 3 spd automatic. There are 2 kinds of 727's made, one has the bolt pattern to fit smaller v-8's 273-360 CID and the more popular that fit larger v-8's 383-440.The 727 torqueflight never was or will be optioned in the viper.

Re: classic ride?
flip
i kept wondering why you were busting my chops. so i went back and reread my first thread.all i can say is doh!!!!shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttt.......... ok you are right a 727torqueflight was a auto 3 speed. how ever hurst makes 2, rockcrusher 727 that also fits up one is a six speed tranny the other is an 4 speed auto tranny. it is set up for a ome tranny switch out conversion. why any one would want to switch out an auto trany for a stick i don't know? cost is 1500 each -this was some time ago- viper trany's are all custom made by hurst not sure what number they go by, -not that either of us have one parked in the driveway to check. zooker Â*

Re: classic ride?
My 1:24 replica has all the numbers on it. 75k, a little more with both jobs. Hell if that was for the one I would be divorced. I spend enough now satisfying that dam monkey. 8)
