Default Finished my prefish this morn. PICS

Finished it up about 15 mins. ago. Only caught a small 12" bass on a white buzzbait and then a 2 to 3 foot alligator gar on my manns -1. Thought I had a huge bass on. I was wishing to hold the biggest bass but it wouldnt have counted anyway if I did get it in cause I was prefishing.

I post pics of the gatorgar in a few.

Gar pike ( i think were talking about the same thing) have been taking down the wallaye and perch poipulations at a lake up north, so people spear them there. They had a owners group tournoment for spearfishing for dogfish and gar, and the biggest fish speared was a 52 inch gar pike!

Im uploading the pics to photobucket right now! Yeah I wasnt sure if I shouldve thrown him back but I did anyway. The thing had jaws like a gator Very STRONG. Hard to hold its mouth open with two pliers and try to get my crank unhooked.

The ones up north have long, thin jaws making them hard to hook. Found this pic on google.

alot of people blame them for killing off walleyes and panfish, but they really don't. I'd blame northern pike more than anything for that. found a 5 footer floating dead when i was bass fishing a couple months ago. they are really are and have been slaughtered for the sheer reason people don't know a thing about them.

suuuperbass, I also fish lake erie, around the sandusky area, and hate them stupid gobies. Just last week I was fishing out of the Sandusky w/ nightcrawlers and caught a 10 in. goby! That really sucked. Other than that I caught a couple of smallmouth and a perch!
