Fin Loco December 28 2006
Fin Loco finally got rid of that trailer rash :P.
We headed to the WX buoy first thing to put in a spread. Trolled out to 220' from there and back = nada. At least we know the outriggers work as we had a 7 line spread with ease  . We then moved into some Snapper #'s that one of our crew mates had. What excellent numbers they were, although no keepers. Caught 15 short Red Snappers with 7 tagged and released 8-). We also pulled up one trigger and countless sea bass (most too short  )with one nice fat one. The water temp around the WX buoy was around 74 degrees till you got out further then it went to 75. Overall it was a slow day that kind of turned around with the bottom fishin'. Fin Loco |
