Day Of Firsts
Finally got a chance to do some fishing today and it was a day full of firsts.
-Caught my first bass using a baitcaster. -Caught my first bass on a buzz bait. -Caught my first bass on a hard jerkbait. (Rapala X Rap) Got lucky on this one hooking the bass on the underside of it's bottom lip with the first trebel hook and in the gill with the second. -Caught my first bass on a Lipless Crank. (Berkley Frenzy) -Caught my first bass on a spinnerbait. After catching the first fish right away on the buzz bait I decided to try and continue to make it a day of firsts and it turned out really well for three hours of fishing. Landed five bass in all, 3 dinks, 2 that were 2lbs. both on the spinnerbait. |
