Tackle underground is loads of help. As to your questions, you can order plasticol (the plastic they use) online. They also sell dyes on most luremaking sites, such as janns. Add scent by mixing it into the molten plastic.

All I can say and I have done plastics in the past is ; make sure you do your home work, it's not as easy as it looks. You have to be real careful with it due to the extreme heat! burning is a factor working with hot liquid plastic, and fumes. make sure your in a well ventilated area, and use an old second hand microwave to melt with. and make sure all containers going into the microwave are microwave safe!
