Fishing is therapy

I tell the old lady that "fishing is therapy" and that if I didn't have it, we'd be spending a fortune on a mental health professional for me. So far, she's bought in to the notion. Would you go crazy if you couldn't fish??? I would. Would you need Mental Health treatment??????? What does fishing mean to you????? Is it all that important?????

when ever im mad I take my rods ...load my boat up drop whatever im doing. It calms me down its just relaxing you and the water + bass

I would go crazy if I couldn't fish. When I'm old and sick, it I can't fish, I'd just want to die. Cabin Fever is actually just a small dose of crazy. The ice fishing does help though.

i go crazy when i am unable to fish, but at the same time fishing can drive me crazy too.

Heh heh ...only drives me crazy when I try to slingshot under low layin limbs...& get the limbs instead of the water!!!

fishing calms me down, if i have a bad day at school i can just grab my fishing poles and go out fishing, even if i dont catch fish i allways come back home as good as new.

if i couldnt fish, then i would go crazy. Fishing has been pretty much my whole life since i was able to hold a rod and reel.

Fishing does have quite the calming effect. Not sure what it is but it's not just the bass it's the serenity of being trouble free. + the bass

Yep, I'd go crazy. When I need serenity I hook up the boat. Everything just falls away except me and the fish. Instead of spending big $$$ on mental health I spend big $$$ on fishing gear. I think I get the best of the bargain, too

It definitely does calm us all down.

I especially like to go to the nice, relaxing pond behind our high-school and catch some fish after a long day of work in the Summer.

HEY GUYS IT WAS 70 DEGREES TODAY IN GUNTERSVILLE TODAY AND I HAD TO WORK! talk about going nuts. told the wife i wish i had called in and she said i should cause i was driving her nuts, lol. she is ready for spring too. just to get out of the house! hahaha. oh well. guess i need to go to the bell tower huh? lol

Fishing has been pretty much my whole life since i was able to hold a rod and reel. __________________ other anglers are hard to beat, but the fish are the real competition.
