Zooker
I was wondering, how do you pronounce zooker? The word "zoo" and ker, or "zuh" ker?

Still strange that all normal grammar that has two "O"s and a "k" is pronounced "uh". Such as "hook", "look", "took". See the "uh", pronunciation?

I can't get over the accent you have sounds like you got a mouth full of chicken and yelling at your dog for crap-pin in the truck.

VA, NC, and SC don't usually have too heavy of an accent. Go to R-Kansas or Mississippi, then I even have trouble to understand every once in a while.
I remember one time flying into the Golden Triangle airport in Columbus, MS and the guy at the rental car desk saying "Welcome to the Deep South" in the heaviest drawl I have ever heard. I like the accent personally. |

I appreciate that, Bender. Some people think it makes us sound unintelligent/stupid. But then again, I've had people from up north (we call 'em "Yankees" down here) get me to just talk because they like it so much. Saying "Fixin' to" is always a hit.

That's a familiar southern slang term! Use it all the time. We have the same southern "terminology" with less "accent" here in VA.
Actually I like listening to weman from Western Kentucky talk. One of our suppliers is in Russell Springs and the girls there sound SWEET!
