Making Spinnerbaits
After seeing BPACA's thread about "Skirt Making Kits", he sparked my imagination about making spinnerbaits.
This year I would like to try and make my own. To start, I will probably just buy the frames, but add spinners, skirts, beads, clevices, etc. What are some good frame brands that you Guys know of? How much will it cost me to buy around five frames? Can you buy painted frames? Next. Spinners and components. What brands of spinner blades would you reccommend? Where can I buy beads, clevices, paint, etc. Finally, how to assemble. Any tips? Thanks in advance, -Lunk-

What was probably my best half day of fishing ever came on one of Reb's spinnerbaits. I caught 46 fish before noon. My thumbs were bleeding by 10. It was cold, windy, and nasty, and I was having a ball! Unfortunately for me (although my thumbs were happy) I had to leave and get ready for a wedding. I would have liked to have seen how many a full day of fishing would have caught.

The listed site is a great site. I use them for alot of what I do also. Its like a one stop shop. Once you make your first lure, and start catching fish, you'll never go back. Thats what hooked me. Knowing that I crafted the lure that caught the fish. Its an awsome feeling
