I don´t have any particular bait just set for shakey heads or dropshotting, however my No1 bait for any kind of rig is a 6-7 inch straight tail worm, now that I´m out of Mann´s Jelly Worms ( finally, after almost 2 decades worth of Jelly Worm packs in stock I´m through with them ) Zoom´s Trickworm has taken the place of the old reliable Jelly Worm. Color: any color is fine. Size: well, trickworms are only manufactured in 6 3/4 inch.
Another good straight tail worms I´ve tried are GYCB Kuttails ( more sizes available ) |

shakeyheads:
berkley handpoured finesse worms in several colors, mostly natural colors. and i am looking foward to getting my hands on the new T-mac worm from netbait. i also use zoom finesse worms in watermellon and green pumpkin. dropshot: i use razor worms and like them a lot. again several colors but mostly natural colors here too as i usually am fishing gin clear water. sometimes i will use berkley gulp minnow but i really don't care for gulp that much.

Forgot to mention I also use Zoom finesse and Trickworms, but they are kind of a standard shakey head/dropshot bait.

What lakes in Michigan can you use a shakey head rig. The little one I fish seem too weedy. Also can you drop shot in the shallow lakes up here? Thanks |

I used the shakey head everywhere! Just use a round head jig like the bite-me ones. Also the drop shot is good just on the outside of heavy weedlines, although some people throw them in 6" of water!
