Bassmaster Classic

Any of you guys going to the Classic. I am planning on riding down on Sat. with my son, nephew and a buddy. Going to the EXPO which is always great, hopefully I'll come with some money. LOL. We had a local boy qualify thru Fedration Nation, Jeff Freeman (he won the Fedration Nation National championship tourn. in Fla.). Got to pull for him and KVD, but really I like all of them and hope for a good tourn.

I'm going to go with KVD. It's like rooting for the home sports team, he just happens to be an individual.

I'm also going with KVD, as I feel he will take his third classic... although I do hope it is a close race with some of the top guys.

My predicition is Edwin Evers.

My favorites are Boyd Duckett, Gary Kline, Evers and KVD. I like guys that seem to be gentlemen and act like they've caught a fish before when they get a good 'un in the boat. No screamers or clowns for me please.

Good choice. I can pull for him even though he originated from the "land of fruits and nuts". He relocated, you know. He's a "Southern Boy" now. He's a great fisherman and seems to be a nice guy.

hometown hero would be Alton jones (fellow Baylor alum), Kelly Jordan would represent my side of town as well. But my fav of them all is Iaconelli. However, I think this is Ish's year
