This is just a spellbinding act of extreme stupidity. And then to get the wife to stand behind him during his little public blurb in which he did not resign? We got to watch her give the dumbass the evil eye for an entire minute. Is that what you call damage control?

For once, I just wish a politician would acknoledge how stupid they are. Not a canned apology. Not for asking for time with the family as if something this dumb could be made up for.

The problem is we have grown to detach the thought of a prostitute as being an equal human being to you or I or anyone else.

What kills me about this duffis is that he took the high and mighty road, acting like the moral leadership for the state of NY, by going after and shutting down two prostituion rings while he was the Attourny General. It's one thing for a common Joe to get caught with a prostitute. It's a totally different matter when it is someone who promised to uphold the law and the standards of the community when he ran for office. He took and oath which sets him appart from others. He represented the good citizens of New York and they gave him their trust. As far as I am concerned, he should be forced to return at least a portion of the income he received as governor.
