Default Rat-l Trap question

I lost my favorite rat-l trap this weekend and was looking to replace it. Only problem is, I can't find the exact one. It was a RT-27 Orange Craw, but when I tried to look it up online in all the stores, the color is wrong. The one I had was orange (first pic) and the ones I'm finding are reddish/orange (second pic). Does anyone know if this a discontinued model? Does anyone know where I can get another one?

I believe it's kind of like cars. Paint colors and schemes change over the years. I don't see why that one won't work though...

Hef, here is one my favorite sites for hard to find baits. Brannan's down in Texas
http://www.fishingworld.com/Brannans...llLewis-NEW-RT

I believe they have it. If not, call Kathy (contact number in website) and she will get it for you.

Ivan,

What does the #29 craw look like? I have some old discontinued models, you got a pic or something similiar and I'll look around.

Straight from the pages of Bill Lewis lures...

Try this, Hef.

I checked and they still show the RT-27 as one of the colors being produced.

Ivan, they still make the RT820 also.

Here's a link to the Chrome Red one. I am also a fan of it.

Bob,

I did look there, but all I could find on their site was "clearance" Rat-l traps and that one isn't listed.

How strange, I guess she doesn't have them in stock. If I were the one looking for them, I would give her a call (I've done this many times in the past). Kathy will go out of her way to find them for you.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate it. I've located one in Texas, it should be in the mail today.

Speaking of trap baits, while on the Detroit River today, I found a small Cordell Super Spot hidden away in some bushes. It's 1/2 ounce I believe and a type of 'firetiger' color. Just thought I'd share...
