Cool... I love watching them chuck those huge swimbaits. What did that winning pig weigh?

I guess if you're throwing a lure that's as big as my typical catch, you're bound to catch a big fish. I love the concept, though. 1 fish, as big as you can catch. Interesting...

Yeah i have a tackle bag completly filled now with hard & soft plastic swimbaits. I just dont want to use anything else. Hey they can very versatile as well. Jig it, swim it. Suspend it. It almost limitless what can be done with swim baits.

The reason I don't use swimbaits is cause I don't know where I can catch fish big enough for them. The usual 12-14" mos tlikely won't hit a 6" bait. I've heard people say they've caught 10lbers around here, but I've yet to find where. BB

False! Whilst pike fishing two years ago, my dad was throwing a 6" copper-hammered spoon and hooked through the lips.... a 2.5" largemouth bass! I think you'd still ctach fish; not as many, bu better quality.. -Buzz |

I have bean using the sassy shad since 1991. Infishermen has shown that the average 15 inch bass can swallow up to a 8 inch bait. That is a bait that is over 1/2 the size of the fish. It does take convidence to use such big baits. But no more than for those who's convidence bait is spinnerbait or say texas rigged worm. Your statment shows your just not sure. I can tell yeahh (THEY SUCK THESE BAITS DOWN LIKE A HAWG). The biggest reason many of them look like real shad or other fish. Plus these baits have a very realistic movment.
