Clear Lake fish 5.5.08
Went to Clear Lake today to prefish for a kickboat touney I have coming up here in 2 weeks or so.Today was the warmest it has been in a while here. 84 degrees with about 10mph winds. Got on the water ot about 0645 and got into the fish pretty quickly. I caught them dropshotting, jigs and senko. Altogether I caught 24 fish with a limit for about 19.5lbs. Not bad considering 2 weeks ago I couldnt get limit in a day. I caught this girl in less than 18 inches of water on a senko. Got a new Revo SX and had to try it out. She tested it and the reel performed like a charm.
 Tried 2 times to get her into my net and she wouldnt go.....Think I need a bigger net! She wieghed 7.13 according to my scale!!! |
