Goals for next year
Along the same lines as Lizard's post on firsts, what are your goals for next year?
Mine: Get better with crankbaits. Throw a spinnerbait more. Use maps and electronics better to find areas that will be more productive. I'm sure there will be a few more, but that is a starting point. |

bassbooger
the trick is to convice her you're a borderline basketcase.the pressures of work, bills, family, etc.and then you have to get her to believe that fishing is the ONLY thing that keeps you from climbing a clock tower with an automatic weapon and start target practice. not that i would ever do that |

Re: Goals for next year
Tom does that really work? Oh well here goes:
1. Become better w/ electronics. Mostly finding the submerged canals and roadways, shellbeds. 2. Be able to boat the 50-60 bass a day w/o using live shiners at my favorite fishing spot. 3. Travel to more places to fish. 4. Become confident in a PNJ 5. Use crankbaits more. 6. Eventually get a hold of a Z$#K N S@$%*! 7. Enter more local tourneys to test myself. Hopefully theres more. 8) |

Re: Goals for next year
Here goes:
1. Be able to read the water better. 2. Come to grips with my depth finder and have a sound knowledge in what I see on the bottom. 3. Catch a 20#+ limit in any of my club tourneys. 4. And maybe have at least one, please, just one 5 or 6 pound kicker in a tourney. There's more in the future. |

Re: Goals for next year
Actually Zook, we had a pretty good event for Jan.
Top weight was over 9 lbs and 2nd was over 7. Big bass was 4.30, and was caught by my partner, who I fished with in this last tournament. Which he did well in. He weighed in a total of three times this year. Two were with your's truly. |
