South Florida Peacock Bass 7-1-08
South Florida peacock bass fishing is red hot despite the heavy thunderstorms Miami has been getting. Yesterday Dan Paszynski and I were out and boated 26 peacock bass up to 5 1/2 lbs. Dan also caught two more over 4 lbs. Peacocks are like smallmouth in that anything over 4 lbs. or bigger is getting quite large. The state record is a little over 10 lbs. but those are very rare.
