				 | Please Help: Chartruse Spinnerbait Setup

Hey guys, its me, lunk. I'm trying to decide what setup I want to get for all my willow bladed chartruse spinnerbait throwing. I already have a Daiwa Steez on a GL3 for my black colorado spinnerbaits, and I have a a Shimano Calais on a St. Croix Avid for my Indiana spinnerbaits (except I throw the white/shad colored indiana spinnerbaits on a Revo Premier and an American Rodsmiths H3), but I can't decide what combo will be best for the willow bladed chartruse spinnerrbaits on 17 pound test Suffix. I throw the white colored willow bladed spinnerbaits on a Bass Pro Shops Johnny Morris reel with a Kistler Helium II rod, but I want a really dedicated setup here. So heres what I am looking at. A. Shimano Curado 200 E series on a Lamiglass Certified Pro trigger stick, 7' 3" medium heavy action. or B. Ardent XS 1000 on a Shimano Cumara, 7' 2" medium action. I've thought and thought about this and can't decide, not which setup I want, but which one I want more! Maybe everyone can help. Lunk |

This one time there was a chicken with a hot dog and a chicken nugget (of all things can you believe it) shoved up his sphincter.

Well, since it's likely the poor mullet has to use the 'puter at the East Possumbutt Public Library and fishes with a Snoopy rig he received at a Marine Corps Reserve "Toys for The Hopelessly Bewildered" Xmas party, you can't hate him for dreaming of bigger and better things. Go easy on the lad, my frie...errr, *acquaintances, for he cannot be blamed for his lowly station in life. After all, he was born with, not a Silver Spoon, but a foot, in his mouth. Gently. Ever so gently, Lancer6 *I gotta be careful, for I am judged by the company I keep. |

to approach the question seriously why would you need a rod for every dif spinner bait , it's the same as needing a seperate toothbrush for each tooth the only spinners i could see needing a seperate rod for are the really light ones .

From our end of this ongoing... let's call it a "conversation", it seems that is it everyday. It is kind of getting old. You'd think the guys yelling at you about what you really do should be enough to make you stop. But instead... Quote:

I read in a magazine that smallmouth hit chartruse baits, so I was thinking to handle the fight they put up a little better I should get a setup with a smoother drag and longer, slower action than what I normally throw my shad colored willow leafed spinnerbaits on. But I thought that was obvious. Oh well, my bad. Lunk |
