Farm pond
Got out with some of the students on a farm pond recently. Of course there was the normal trash talking and predictions on who was going to catch the most fish. Caught a bunch of little ones before the big fish hit. Not bad for this small pond. It's only 5-6' deep with very little cover. Most of the students caught between 3-5 fish. Majority were small but a few were nice keepers.

Thanks. No, just normal floating worm. Students caught a bunch of fish on wacky senkos. Caught seven on the worm, three on spinnerbait, and two on a toad. Most of the students didn't see the fish. Trash talking continued most of the evening but I wasn't included after I had my first four or five and they only had one or so. They've learned.......

It was a short chunk that went an estimated 4.5. The grandson of the owner caught a longer one a couple weeks earlier that weighed about the same. They have bass, cats, bluegill and crappie in the pond. Supposedly there's a 6+ lurking in there somewhere.....
