Nice find......I've got a computer program called Fishing log pro, that I use, but I find its not really too user friendly in its design and i'm always wondering if i'm using the thing to its full advantage.....I like the ability to log all my fishing info and post some pics into it....and love the ability to come back to that months later to remind myself what the conditions were like then and what my success rate was.....I wonder how many other anglers really use fishing logs?

alot of guys on here mention using one, i just thought this was a decent layout. if left up to me just scratching in a notebook, it may look like the ramblings of an idiot 6 months into the year. much less making sense of it next year!

That is a good one to use. I used to use it but found one called Fishinsight that I really like. If you are going to keep one, or do keep one, here is a tip I got a while back. Most if not all of us always have a cell phone with us. Most have a voice memo feature. You can record a memo out on the water and then play it back when you are entering in the info. Saves a lot of remembering. I personally use a small digital voice recorder. Catch a fish, record a quick message with the pertinent info and keep fishing.

Reb, how much has keeping a record helped you? I tried to keep one when I first started fishing but quit because I wanted to keep on fishing. Mostly because of so little time to actually fish. How has it increased your knowledge?

reb, the recorder is a great idea. faster on the water and no worry of your paper one getting wet.
