I love my accurist! I've had it for 5 years now and haven't had any problems. For 50 $ I would buy two of them! Good fishin'

i have never used on but most of the time reels just dont suck... you get what you pay for.... if its 200$ its probably going to be smoother or easier to throw.... but it will probably be a good reel

i bought one at a local Dick's Sporting Goods, and the reel was terrible right from the box, even after a tear down, and relubing it, it just wasn't that great of a reel. The one I had screeched extremely loud on the cast, and was not very smooth on the way in. I also was not a big fan of the ACS II braking system, as it only has three positions for casting.

I have to of them and like them both. That's a good buy. Go for it. I was in the BPS in Hanover MD> yesterday and looked at the Mojo rods (st. croix) and they felt pretty good. Under a $100.00 also.

I have that same reel. I've had it for 2-3 years now and like it a lot. I may have to get another one at that price!

I've got four of them. Great reels, and you can't beat that price. If you get one you will not regret it.
