				 | Jig fish

Well iit was in the high 70's yesterday but the winds were howling 25+ with some bad gusts but tried anyway..I could not fish anything without getting the big bow in my line so i pulled the hated jig rod out and caugth this while ducked behing houses flipping docks..Black football with blue/chart colors.. Who is the man with the jigs as i might begin to like this. She was bug eyed and already spawned from the looks of her.21 and change 61/4 pounds. |

That's a nice fish. Not much of a belly on her, so yeah, probably all spawned out already, she'd be an easy 6 3/4 or 7 before spawning. Carolina Rig is the jig man, plus he's a great guy. www.thunderstruckjigs.com |

Well that was my first fish on a jig as i Never fish them..The eyes on the bigger fish bug out like that for some reason..All the fish i have seen big this year are bugged like that..Maybe spawn period cause i never noticed them till this year..She was released after the pic and did a nice skipping tailwalk before going to the depts.

great looking fish man. not sure what is up with the eyes but it may have something to do with water depth and water temp.
