Melt, ice, melt!!!!!!!
Now that I'm putting a boat in the water, I really wanna hit Big Platte Lake like Rosie on a buffet.
Friend of mine told me today he used to have a lot of luck trolling the blue line as soon as the ice is gone. Hurry up and melt!!!!!!!!

I am chanting the same. Our open water season starts April 1st, but I doubt my favorite pond will be iced out enough to put a canoe in. I am gonna try Seven Tree Pond http://www.maine.gov/ifw/fishing/lak..._tree_pond.pdf.
It's a bit smaller than Platte...hehe |
