Cabelas Fluorocarbon
Well 1000 yards for $35 sounds like a great deal should i jump on it or save my money for somthing else?

I have not yet tried it, but I think all of cabelas stuff is made elswhere, if a good company makes it, then go for it.

yeah im going to call and try and find out who makes it in the morn. ive looked at a couple post on other forums and one said vanish the other said carbon pro.
Well i called and the only info they would give me is that it was made in japan

I didn't care for it. I found it to be very brittle.

Unless something is on closeout clearance or the store is closing, I have always found it to be the case that things are very inexpesive for a reason.

Vanish is made by berkley and is crap (but I've heard good things about Trilene 100%) and carbon pro is made by Seaguar (one of the german ones and one of the first fluoros on the market). I personally really like Seaguar fluoro, but I'd spend a bit more and get Invisx over the Carbon Pro. BB
