Not a good day, boys....
About 4:30 this morning I got the call: My mom passed away
 . In truth it is a mixed blessing. Her health was real bad and she had been in a nursing home since Christmas and if you haven't this experience I hope you never do. And, she is back with my dad, which is where she belongs. I will miss her, though. I know it is all part of life, but it sure isn't very pleasant.Fortunately I have no regrets, but as a word of warning: Don't take the people you love for granted. Let them know how you feel so you don't have to say, "I wish I had told them...." after it is too late.
