Question for my girl.

She's been looking for a rod with a little pink on it and she spotted this one at dicks sporting goods, can anyone give feedback on it for me or give any suggestions on one she may like? Thanks.

I'm no pro bass chick yet, but I still like to actually *catch* something and not have my rod snap. Only had that happen once, and it was a my bad in rod selection years ago. Are either of those that I put up even decent? I'm not doing anything heavy duty, so would the shakespere medium ment to handle 8-17 pounds be okay? Would it be better for me to go with the 3-6 pound where as I'm not doing any heavy fishing? C'mon guys, bass man said you were all guru's here, help a girly out!

LOL hey boys why dont ya let a chick who actually has pink rods answer. I have 1 pink rod that i LOVE, its from dicks and a spinner real and its got little l.e.d. lites on it. I have fought bass and got them to the boat without a problem. Also there are a few that are pink and black and a portion of the cost goes to Breast cancer research. My husband and i looked at them and they are great. ALso if you are wanting pink rods talk to tiger rods at the top of the page.............they will make one for ya.

Just so you know, I have 2 of the one you first linked. One for each of my daughters (6 & 8). They work very well and they are not the most experienced fisherwomen (yet!).

My wife and daughter both have lady fishers, and they work just fine for an entry level rig. They will land plenty of fish for you. Though I would recommend the spinning reel model over the spincast.

this set up is actually a pink ugly stick-i'd glue the rod togather- the reel is a decent reel..and we all know ugly sticks are as tough as nails..


my only thought is bassassinators better half has a better sense of humor than he does....

Hey i think you guys should buy all your wives pink computers, that way there is no fighting over the comp........Green knows what happnes when he uses my comp, he just loves seeing his posts show up as Pinbass.
