Finally won one!!

Well we had our last tournament for the year on Sunday and I was able to pull off the win. After a very hard pre-fish, I only caught 2 keepers and missed one on a frog, I thought I was in a whirl of hurt. Well, put together a good plan the night before (get drunk) and pray for the best! After 4 hours of sleep and still feeling it I moved forward and went to my "spot" and found a toad!! I couldn't fish for 5 minutes. Kept working at it and found another on top water and thought, not bad. Well I ended up working the area with no luck and thought about the fish that I missed. Thought what the heck and went up there (5 minute boat ride up a river at 45 mph - fun!! -) and first cast wacky style put the fish in the boat!! Limit!! (we only have a 3 fish limit in our club). Well this was about 10:30 am and had till 3:00... I was dragging a$$ at this time. So, I just sat down and drove around. Made a few casts here and there and ended up culling 2 more times!!

Well, I weigh in and have 7.92lbs and big fish at 4.29. Little did I know I also jumped 2 spots and won our AOY!!!!!! The guy leading it zeroed!! It was a hard day. Oh and I also won big bass for the year. Not a bad way to end the year. Here is my little fish....
