Had a great time at this little lake on the Army base. Ft Rucker, AL, Buckhorn lake. Used Drop shot rigs. 8Lb P-Line CX. Zoom finesse worms in Plum Apple and Junebug. 2nd weekend in a row I had fun there.

Is that one of those new Dick's Field and Stream rods in the 5th pic? How do you like it? Nice catch btw.

Thanks, Yes it's the new Tec-Spec rod. I bought two just alike for fishing the drop shot. 6'10" Med fast tip. VERY happy with the feel and construction of the rods. For $59 I can't complain. I have Shimano Sahara 2500's on both. P-Line CX 8Lb green line.

I use the wide gap gamigotzsome hooks because they are sharp and available EVERYWHERE. If it's real weedy or stumpy I rig the worm all the way up like a texas rig. Correct on the left handed. Sure makes it nice to cast and not change up to crank. ![]() The Tennessee handle rod is a Shimano Crucial CRST66MH 6'6" rod I won on ebay for $100. I put a quantum Quantum Escalade Size 40 Spinning Reel on it.
